 Overview --> Jordan Horseback Expedition 2008  Jordan Horseback Expedition 2008 Prepare2go took on a brand new challenge: taking an exclusively female group (10) on a horseback expedition from the magnificent city of Petra to the splendid Wadi Rhum Desert. The actual horseback trip took 7 full days of approximately 6-7 hours riding, combined with a prior visit of the World Heritage site of Petra and finishing with some well-deserved 5* pampering at the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea.
The trip was a huge success. Although most participants were quite wary at first of the amount of riding hours that would be required, they overcame the challenges brilliantly thanks to their will power, the adapted equipment, the physical preparation they had done and a great support team of local guides and cooks.
All of them left the desert and their beautiful (arabic) horses reluctantly. Only the first shower in 7 days was a welcome treat returning into the "civilised" world.
