The reconnaissance was completed at the beginning of February, and the rally now has over 40 cars signed up. We have been asked to provide the logistics support for the main event as well - so will be driving it all again next January.

Philip Young, from the Endurance Rally Asscoiation, took a video camera along with him when he joined the route survey team back in January.

The short video resulting out of it, provides a glimpse of some of the London to Cape Town rally route from sub-Saharan Niger, through Nigeria to the jungles of Cameroon, Gabon and the Congo.
